How to plan a Mental Health Day Off
This is a great way to manage stress in your life. It is important to identify how often you need a mental health and plan it. My goal is to take at least one a month. Here is how I do it!
1. I plan a weekday on purpose to have less people out and about.
2. I look at what season I am in and plan my mental health day with this in mind.
3. This is fun for me but find your path. I take a piece of paper and draw a circle in the top middle of the page and put me in it. Then I draw small circles connected to the middle circle.
4. In the small circles I put things in that I want to do. The last one I did I put in the circles; sleep in, go to favorite coffee shop for breakfast, walk along the waterfront, have lunch with a friend, and start seeds in my garden.
5. Once circles are done, I used the bottom of the paper to put my ideas in order of my day.
Be flexible with it and make it things that will recharge you. I look forward to my next one my kayaks and my dog are ready to out!
