Lets talk Books

Books I Always Recommend

I can talk about books all day and I catch myself regularly sharing my favorite books with anyone who wants to listen. I definitely do see this list growing as I grow as a person. The books below have made a positive impact in my life for many reasons. Have fun reading below and seeing why.

  1. Co Dependant No More By Melody Beattie

This book is life-changing in teaching people to understand what a healthy sense of self is and is not. It teaches you what healthy relationships look like and how to find them.  Co-Dependency is a term used very widely in society and it is essential to understand healthy relationships. The key to all relationships is that you understand yourself. Why do we stay in bad relationships, avoid good ones, and keep attracting the same types of partners and friends that hurt us?

  2. Boundaries By Dr. Henry Cloud and John Townsend

Boundaries is another term used heavily in our society. The truth is that boundaries are amazing. They help protect you and all your relationships. This book will help you learn when to say yes to things and when not to. You will also learn when, why, and how to say no. While in the journey of boundaries you will learn why and where you struggle setting boundaries. Practicing these skills will help you build a stronger relationship with yourself and others.

Enjoy!
